Times in Europe/London

These tools calculate; they do not rule. Where your mosque, local authority or scholar says otherwise, follow them.

How it works

Prayer times are computed from the sun's position for the chosen coordinates. Fajr and Isha use the twilight angle the selected authority publishes; Asr uses the shadow-length rule of your madhhab; Maghrib is sunset. Diyanet's published minute corrections are applied when Diyanet is the method.

This is the same calculation the Rumi app runs offline, checked against Diyanet's published timetables to within a minute. Above roughly 48° in summer, where twilight never ends, a high-latitude rule decides Fajr and Isha.

Questions

Why do these times differ from another website?

Almost always because of the calculation method or the Asr setting. Choose the method your local mosque follows; if Asr is off by around an hour, switch between the standard and Hanafi calculation.

Which method should I pick?

The one your country's religious authority or your mosque uses. Automatic chooses it from the country of the selected city.
